Job Description of Charted Accountant /CA/AGM/DGM/GM Finance & Accounts
- Gathering and monitoring financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Forecasting costs and revenues
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)

- Maintaining proper accounting records
- Assessing financial risks and suggesting preventive measures
- Liaising with clients, business partners, auditors and vendors
- Ensuring complete compliance with the state authorities
- Offering expert financial advice and services to clients
- Investigating and rectifying any financial discrepancies
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Preparing budgets, annual reports and strategies
- Advising clients on financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions
- Helping clients with reciprocity agreements, training agreements or similar tax/payment-related queries
- Work closely with the tax department to ensure performance of tax planning, client interaction and special projects
- Collaborate with staff on income tax preparation and planning
- Represent clients with IRS, State or other audits
- Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to junior members of our team when needed
- Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service
- Execution of all audits in accordance with Standard Audit Programs and industry practices, using a combination of data analytics and on-ground review of documentation
- Objective assessment and review of company’s business processes.
- Identification of process deviations and suggesting implementable changes to the process, for effective functioning of the process reviewed.
- Review of statutory compliance applicable to organisation.
- Evaluation of internal financial controls and make recommendations on possible improvements.
- Effective preparation of work papers and evidences of deviations noted, for future reference.
- Effective discussion with process owners on the observations noted and understanding the root cause of the deviation.
- Follow up on the observations pending closure as per the Action Taken Report of previous reviews.
- Identification of possible areas of revenue leakage and working on addressing process gaps causing such leakages.
- Review of special areas/assignments given by Audit Committee and Management based on ongoing events, and reporting on the outcome noted.
- Analyzing the company’s financial systems and procedures
- Processing online payments and bank statements
- Preparing and forecasting budget reports
- Preventing or suggesting ways to stop any fraudulent activities
- Negotiating monetary terms with vendors
- Providing assistance with tax planning
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
- SAP environment
