Role Description Manager / Senior Manager Compliance and Payroll:

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Manager HR at Mumbai location for one of the largest Industrial real estate developers with a presence across India.

The incumbent will drive the Human Resources function for Welspun One Logistics Parks and help make the company an employer of choice.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

The Senior Manager – HR is expected to manage all HR activities from end to end while maintaining the highest standards of internal and external customer satisfaction. He / She will be responsible for creating a great candidate experience for potential employees and ensuring that WOLP is great place to work.

Key Result Areas:

  • Maintain personal files of all the employees and shall be complete in all aspects and in line with the company policy.
  • Updating of HR data one Success factor.
  • MDM data to update on real time basis.
  • Ensure healthy practice to be followed by all the contractors pertaining to Labor, Employment and all statutory provisions across all the sites.
  • Ensure Vendor audits on monthly basis and any deviation shall be escalated on real time basis.
  • Coordination of all the vendors to ensure compliance of Labor and employment Laws and related statutory provisions – more than 80%
  • Ensure adherence of company policies to cent percent.
  • Ensure 100% Compliance at corporate, timely payment of statutory payments.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, separations/terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Source and find candidates qualified for open positions.
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast.
  • Design, plan and execute selection processes, conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.
  • Reviews employment applications and background check reports.
  • Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process.
  • Assist the team in conducting regular workshops / town halls / motivational program.
  • Visit to sites to conduct employee engagement activities.
  • Providing assistance in Great Place to Work Certification
  • Ensure statutory and non-statutory welfare facilities extended to each and every employee.

Incumbent Profile

Education Requirements: Graduation and Post-graduation from Tier 1 institutes in India / abroad

Years of experience: 10-15 Yrs

Key knowledge areas:

Understanding of various HR frameworks and their implementation
Knowledge of Labour Laws
Knowledge of industry best practices in HR

Work Experience Requirements:

Overall 10 years

Preferred Real Estate or PE/ VC / AIF / Investment Management background. Knowledge of managing contract labor and related areas will be an added advantage
