Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities of Packaging & Development :

  • Finalizing dimension for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging material.
  • Overall responsibility of Existing and New product Artwork Designing (Cartons, Foil, Tubes, Pouch, Label, etc).
  • Responsible for secondary and tertiary packaging designs independently including pelletization and containerization
  • Packaging Machinery, Packaging Materials, Regulatory Requirements
  • Cost Saving analysis, Vendor development, feature comparisons keeping vendor database
  • Exposure to regulatory requirements of US FDA/ SA MCC, UK MHRA/ UK MCA.
  • Responsible for conceptualization and design of secondary packaging and labelling for all products
  • Preparation of PMS, BOM, Documentation of the same
  • Online Proofing proof and shade card approval.
  • Development Activity of new packaging material for new products
  • Developing packaging Material for domestic and international exports also.
  • Need to develop in house Graphic Designer with coordination with various departments and need to execute the same.
  • Change part layout approval for new product for local and export.
  • Should be well versed with packaging machinery, automation and coordinate with designer for art work Design.
  • Co-coordinating with F&D, RA, QA, Plant & Store Department. Co-ordination with various dept. at various stages for pre and post packaging development activities.
