QC Chemist

Job Description

Quality Control Chemist prepares and tests samples from all phases of the manufacturing process to ensure that the product quality meets the standards, prepares documents that report test results and is responsible for preserving workplace safety while handling hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities of QC Chemist:

1. Shall report to the Quality In-charge.
2. Shall responsible to testing of finished product, raw material and packing material.
3. Shall responsible to microbiological analysis of finished product.
4. Shall responsible for change control issuing and completion.
5. Responsible for preparation or up gradation of SOP and GTP.
6. Responsible for monitoring daily, weekly and monthly calibration done as per schedule related to chemical lab.
7. Shall responsible for verify all documents related GLP.
8. Shall perform entry and maintain of finished product, raw material, packing material and in-process sample log book.
9. Shall responsible for maintain usage log book for humidity chamber.
10. Shall responsible for hydrolysis of Wood Pulp.
11. Shall responsible for Standardization of volumetric solution & reagents and maintain its record.
12. Shall responsible to maintain and traceability of all documents as per procedure.
13. Shall maintain control sample entry log book.
14. Responsible to other microbial testing as mention in concern SOP’s of microbial lab.
15. Shall responsible for testing of Spirulina.
